Family Counseling Center Fringe Benefits
Health Insurance: Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance is available to each benefit eligible employee. The employee portion is divided between two paychecks per month.
Life and Disability Insurance: Life and long-term disability insurance is provided to all eligible employees by the agency at no cost.
Dental Insurance: Dental insurance is available to all employees (and their family members) who work 20 or more hours per week. The cost is divided between the two paychecks per month.
Vacation and Sick Time - an employee must be regularly scheduled at least 20 hours per week to be eligible for this coverage. Accrual is prorated based on the % of each employee’s FTE.
Vacation: After the 6 month probationary period, an employee is eligible to take vacation. During the probationary period, vacation is accrued. A full-time employee receives 3 weeks per year of vacation. This is accrued at a rate of 10 hours per month. Employees earn an additional week of vacation after 5 years of employment and another after 10 years.
Sick: A full-time employee accrues 8 hours of sick time per month. If during a quarter (i.e. January, February and March) no sick time is used, 4 hours of vacation time will be added to your vacation.
Training Money
Each employee can attend trainings but you must have the approval of your supervisor. A decision will be made according to how much money or how many days have been used in the fiscal year toward training for that employee.
Holidays
Family Counseling Center recognizes 10 holidays a year.
Retirement Plan
Family Counseling Center offers a 401K-retirement plan to employees who work at least halftime (1000 hours per year) and have been employed with the agency for over one year. The agency matches up to 3% of an employee’s salary if they choose to participate in the plan. The plan allows the employee to choose a number of investment options.
Upon leaving employment, the employee is entitled to his/her contributions and a percentage of the Family Counseling Center’s contributions based on length of participation. An employee is fully 25% vested (that is, entitled to the Family Counseling Center’s contributions) after 2 years of employment, 50% vested after 3 years, 75% vested after 4 years and 100% vested after 5 years.
